Welcome to the website of Warwick Motorsport, the sports club from the University of Warwick!

Warwick Motorsport is dedicated to promoting, enjoying and participating in any and all forms of motorsport for all its members.

We try to put as much emphasis on motorsport participation as we can. Over the upcoming year we will host many karting events ranging from indoor, outdoor, dirt tracks and on ice! For the mechanically minded we also have our own 75mph club kart which we will take out at the nearby national Whilton Mill Circuit.

Our main competition is the British University Karting Championships (BUKC) in rapid 2 stroke machines around the countries premier outdoor tracks against 60 other teams. Warwick's A team finished 3rd last year with our B and C team also high up. We are aiming to win the championship for the first time this year!

In addition we will have as much car participation as possible. The big one is when us and other universities rent out Silverstone for the day in February. However we will also have a Ferrari Track Challenge day during the year.

For F1 addicts or those who just fancy a holiday we will be going abroad on a 4 day tour to a 2008 F1 GP, although to be confirmed it seems likely that this trip will be to the European Grand Prix at the brand new Valencia Street Circuit.

As well as the tour there will be lots of chances for spectating, such events will be Moto GP, Formula One testing, Touring Cars and maybe even D1 drifters.We will also visit exhibitions such as the Autosport show and MPH'07.

Of course how can we forgot our superb socials such as the legendary Pub Grand Prix, in addition to that we also have events such as bowling, paintballing, theme parks and loads of nights out.

Finally it would be rude not to mention other club perks such as our 5 aside football team and our vast array of club clothing.
