Greens is a student run not-for-profit social enterprise and society which encourages the use of fair-trade organic and local produce by selling products to students on Warwick Campus. Last year we started a new Veg-bag scheme which sells and delivers £5 Veg-bags on campus.
Greens is a very active society and offers the opportunity to gain real business experience in finance, stock control, human resources, project development and management, writing business plans and grant applications. There is a real opportunity to take charge of a part of the business and develop it or even start a new venture such as the on campus allotment scheme we hope to be launching this year.
Greens is not for profit and therefore requires volunteers to keep it going. It you’re interested in getting involved you can help at the stall for an hour at a time and sign up in the online rota. Students make greens work; we can’t do anything without you so come and talk to us, if you can offer an hour a week there’s a volunteer discount for you.
