The Urban Dance Society was started in 2005 by a couple of students. Their aim was to teach people dances like Hip-Hop, Krump and Break Dancing. Anyone can do it, whether you have dance experience or not, whether you are flexible or not, the only thing required by us is for you to have determination. If you fall, you get up. If you fail, you try again! That's all we ask.

What The Society's Aims Are: 1) It was mainly started to teach people new things, things that one would of thought impossible before they tried it out. Most people don't know they can do things until they try them, and we are there to show students they can do it.

2) We also aim to build friendships and learn how to learn from one another from our falls and accomplishments, both in and out of the society.

3) By working and helping each other we put motivation and inspiration into the students.

Types Of Dance Styles We Aim To Teach: 1) Break Dancing. 2) Hip-Hop. 3) Krump.

At the present time we only teach Break Dancing due to the lack of dance instructors in the other styles, but we are hoping to get them up and running ASAP!
