The Aberdeen University Photography is a society that is dedicated to enhancing your enjoyment of photography. Whether you enjoy snapshotting or professional shoots, there is something that caters for everyone's tastes.
[edit] What do we do?
Not only do we have talks from professionals, our own darkroom, regular monthly and holiday competitions (with prizes), exhibitions and trips (as if that wasn't enough), we have weekly meetings where you can meet like minded and friendly people who enjoy the same hobby as you do. With an informal atmosphere and a tipple to hand, experiences are shared and ideas discussed. It is both an enjoyable and valuable learning tool.
[edit] Where do you find us?
We meet at the Old School House pub, on Little Belmont St, Aberdeen on Wednesday evenings at 8pm. Be sure to check with us first though as we have regular talks and social events (e.g. film nights, bowling etc etc). You can find out all this by emailing aups@abdn.ac.uk
Or you can check out our website: [1] for an example of what we get up to.
