From StudentWiki

StudentWiki is a resource for prospective and current students. It started as a platform for universities to showcase their student union societies and athletic union sports clubs. It continues to develop as a guide about all aspects of student life; academic, social, sporting and wellbeing.

StudentWiki was set up in July 2007 by a University of Nottingham graduate. The first university guide was unsuprisingly the University of Nottingham.
