Edinburgh University Music Society

Edinburgh University Music Society is a student-run society which recently celebrated its 140th anniversary. It has over 300 members and comprises two orchestras and a choir. Symphony Orchestra is a high standard, fully-auditioning orchestra. Sinfonia is a fun-loving ensemble which is conducted by a student and is non-auditioning for strings. Chorus is a non-auditioning SATB choir which boasts over 100 members.
All three ensembles regularly tour internationally and take part in an Education Programme which aims to bring music to disadvanted people in the wider community.
