People & Planet is the largest student network in Britain campaigning to:

   * alleviate world poverty
   * defend human rights
   * protect the environment


[edit] Activities

People and planet run a number of campaigns on various topics. The current main focus is on Ditch Dirty Development, details of which can be found on the central people and planet website [1]. Other campaigns are Go Green, stop aids, and redress fashion.


[edit] Meetings

Meetings are held every Monday at 7:30pm in room Palace Green 20. Most meetings involve presentaions on various campaigns followed by small group discussions to organise actions. Occasionally external speakers will give presentations or to participate in debates.
