The society aims to educate and increase awareness about all aspects of wine so that you can find your favourites and generally blag your way around any wine menu. We explore different styles, regions and grape varieties from across the globe with wine experts at different venues. Don't miss the annual Champagne tasting, typically held at the atmospheric Avery's Wine Cellars just before Christmas.

Wine Circle also represents the University's most socially useful society. After our weekly tastings which are conducted in a relaxed social atmosphere we head out to town to take advantage of the many membership discounts available thanks to our sponsors.

Membership costs just £10.00, which includes heavily subsidised wine tastings, discounts and special offers exclusive to members at many Bristol bars and wine merchants, a membership handbook & card as well tasting notes at every tasting.
